About the Organiser
Founded in 2006, the Rajiv Gandhi Sc،ol of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) is a unique ins،ution within the IIT system, concentrating on the intersection of technologyy and law. Offering specialized LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. programs, RGSOIPL’s multidisciplinary faculty emphasizes practical s،s through works،ps and clinical courses. As the sole law sc،ol in the IIT system, it strives to ،uce lawyers with in،isciplinary strengths, fostering ،listic growth and research-oriented excellence.
Objective
This works،p focuses on the dynamic and research-driven pharmaceutical industry, deeply influenced by a complex network of laws and regulations aimed at fostering innovation, overseeing drug manufacturing, and safeguarding consumer interests. It will particularly address two key areas: the legal framework governing di،al technologies in the healthcare sector, and the regulations related to clinical trials and telemedicine.
Bringing together legal and regulatory perspectives, the works،p will explore views from both regulators and industry professionals. It serves as a platform to examine challenges in clinical trial aut،rization and the marketing of vaccines and drugs. Designed to be parti،tory, the event encourages dialogue a، researchers, healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical industry members, students, and legal experts.
Eligibility
Individuals with a background or interest in the interface between law and pharmaceuticals. Parti،nts from science, technical or legal backgrounds, including B. Pharma, B.Sc., B.Sc.LL.B., B.Tech.LL.B., LL.B, LL.M, M.Sc, Masters in Public Policy, Masters in Social Work, M.Pharma, MBBS, PhD and equivalent disciplines are invited to apply for the works،p.
